I'm doing three slabs of spares today with the trimmed pieces. I'm using The Original Charcoal briquettes (from Home Depot). I'll be using hickory sticks for smoke. I'm doing this on the Bar-B-Chef offset smoker. I slathered with mustard and rubbed with Texasbbqrub. I'll be doing a little tilling with the Mantis tiller today while the ribs are smoking and probably some other yard work.

The ribs were put on at 9:00AM EST.

Yard work got done and so did the ribs. We ate only ribs for supper then went swimming. The Original Charcoal was great. It all burn completely up with no chunks left. The only chunk was a piece of smoking wood from the hickory.

Congrats on the yard work and the ribs.
Ribs looked great! No pic of the yard work :?
(No pic.........no yard work ;) )
