If the internal temp of the freezer was above 40# then the whole rib slab would be fine. I would immagine that if the majority of the slab was frozen then the whole slab would be fine. I sure you safe with the frozen portion of ribs.
 
No offence. But your a big boy, is it worth getting yourself or any one else sick over some ribs? You have to decide for your self. Golden rule around my place is When in doubt, Throw them OUT! Trust me, I know what it's like. I threw a whole deep freezer full of pork one time because it quit. That was a big buck lesson I will never forget. I'm sure some will say cook them and see how they smell. Not me! My .2 Rooster has a good point though.
