I just finished the Piedmont Pan. I have $9.04 invested. The pans were $4.00 a piece from the Bass Pro Shop. I had the copper tubinig and the 1 1/2 inch Stainless Steel bolts. I had to buy 6 flat washers, 3 lock washers, and 3 wing nuts ($.50). Here are the pictures.

Looks good; when I use mine I foil the top pan, leaving just enough indentation to catch the drippings, in other words, I don't take the foil all the way to the bottom of the pan.

And just like any other cook, if you control your temps on the way up you shouldn't have any problems. Let me know how your first cook with it goes.

When I got to Bass Pro, "The one that is 100 miles from my house", I couldn't remeber which pan to buy. I reasoned that the water pan was the same size as the wsm grates.

That is not the correct pan as I found out when I got home. D%#$.

Wow only $9.04 to make.

Up here I priced it out and it is $29.++ tax

ugh.

Waiting till I get to the Bass Pro shop

A guy over on TVWB had another great idea. Instead of having to drill holes and buy nuts and bolts, he went to the hardware store and bought magnets and used them as the spacer between the pans.
