I'm in the states for 2 weeks with the family. Haven't been stateside since 2002. Talk about culture shock. Driving 55 or 65 instead of 90 or 100. So many shopping choices, BJ's, Sam's Club, Cosco, Lowes Home Depot, Walmart... I think I'm gonna go crazy. The prices are much lower than Germany. I wish I could take it all with me.

Found all kinds of bbq stuff, definitely mailing some lump home. Is $6 too much for 9lbs of Cowboy lump?? Saw my first Chargriller today. $119 at Lowes, they cost $360 in Germany.

I must say I really miss America. So much to do and so little time :D :D

Welcome back bud!

Hard to believe, but it's true. Too bad it weighs too much to mail.
Thanks, it's nice to be back if only for a while.

Beer is better but not cheaper. When I go to a fest we buy beer by the meter. Belgian beer is also good. You can get beer with 13 percent alcohol
