Dude,

That is off the lard chart. I have never witnessed a tamale that greasy. [smilie=wtf2.gif]
 
They been makin em that way for 50 years & they are hot, greasy & good.
Aint no worse than fried eggs in bacon grease :shock: then we cook biskits in the same grease. (When campin out) :D

In my younger days I could 2 dozen... not any more though :cry:
What kind of meat did they have in them? They are suppose to be greasy. Most are made from pork and (manteca in the masa) lard in the dough. JB, try this sometime. Take a few tamales and get a iron skillit hot and slightly toast the corn husk, then unpeal them and eat them.. They are really good like that too... :eek:

I drink beer & I drink more beer ... Sapo the meat is fine ground beef almost a beef paste
