Basted turkey?

Doing this bird in my WSM 18.5 on Wednesday ....59 a pound , not too shabby.
What do you suppose "basted" means. Pre brined , injected , ???

Yes.

All of the above.

Unless it's pre-cooked. I have only heard the term "Basted" when talking about adding a liquid during cooking.

I wish companies wouldn't make up new definitions for words.

Sounds pumped to me. Have heard that terminology bandied about somewhere. The chances of a person landing an unpumped turkey accidentally is a real long shot. Look at the sodium content. If its pumped it will have a bunch. If it say basted with a certain percentage of stuff usually broth and other hard to prounouce words thats a clue also.
