I wanted some CSRs but all the Market I went to had was pork steaks so they had to do.

Pork steaks on the grill till they hit 165 smoked with a couple of chunks of hickory and rubbed with some Head Country.

Some corn just off the grill.

When the pork steaks hit 165*F they were wrapped in foil and back on the grill till they were fork tender then shredded and a little BBQ sauce added.

Plated. Slider had some of the pork, Tabasco sauce, cole slaw, an onion ring on a sweet Hawaiian roll.

Pardon what may be a foolish question, but I'm new to much of this... are the beans being heated in a bread pan?

Yes, I use a bread pan when I warm up beans on the grill.

Well we do not hold with putting onyawn rings on sandwiches. I could prob eat it ok if those could be served on the side. Great choice on the beans. Those have took the place of Ranch Styles as the National Beans of Texas...still lagging behind dry pintos but not by much. Top canned bean no doubt. I really think folks like them better than scratch cooked beans. Great choice on the rub too. Always one of my favorites for about all purposes..maybe thats why they call it all purpose. Big Dave say it has too much bell peppa..but what does he know? lol.
