Last night Leigh-Ann asked if I wanted to grill steaks tomorrow or have leftovers out of the freezer since it was going to be so hot. Easy choice. I'm a Southern boy and not afraid of a little heat! My gorgeous bride of 10 years came home tonight with some beautiful skirts...and okra...and corn. Had some leftover potato salad that we skewered up and "reheated" too.

Skirts seasoned with Penzy's Chicago Steak Seasoning, the leftover potatoes from some potato salad that were skewered, the okra sliced in half and seasoned with Penzy's Northwoods rub and plain Jane corn.

Skirts on. Corn had been on indirect for about 20 minutes.

Very good. Leigh-Ann and I agree, we're not huge fans of the Chicago Steak Seasoning from Penzy's...It didn't really add anything to the skirts. We much prefer just S&P...maybe I didn't season them enough with it but this isn't the first time we've thought this. Anyway, still a great meal.

Thanks for looking!

I look forward to see'n your posts, Don, and you've yet to let us down. Looks great! Grilling the leftover potato salad is a great idea!

Nice pix, too.

man that looks good...i have never eaten okra any way but fried...will have to try it

Another freaking excellent meal Don! I can't get okra up here, not a big hit with the yankees. I did some skirts last night that I marinated in a garlic / lime marinade. If I remember tomorrow, I'll post the recipe. It was tasty!
