Well, tomorrow is his birthday so we had him and my mother over for a light lunch today. I made crab stuffed portobellos.


Crab meat, egg, panko, shallot, thyme, garlic, lemon juice and S&P mixed and spooned into portobellos.

Sides. Romaine hearts drizzled with some reserved fennel lemon marinade for some chicken that we are having for dinner and bread brushed with olive oil and seasoned with salt and minced thyme.

I've seen lettuce wedges' done on the grill before, but never tried it. Sure looks good. What about a bacon/prosciutto and provolone chesse wrapped wedge? Is that reach'n?(still jones'n for the speargrass :oops: )

Not a dessert fan, so heat up one of those cubans for me.
