Open top drum

Donor kettle. Cut off the flange and handle.

Oven gasket glued in place

Not a bad fit.

ECB grate holder.

Looks pretty good.

I used an angle grinder with a thin cutting disk.

Never got around to cutting up the old kettle today. Had some painting and caulking to do in the main bathroom. Got to keep the little miss happy. Maybe tomorrow I can get round toit

We got ours cut up. Still looking for a permanent way to mount the "ring" to the drum. As of now it is just sitting on top. Used aluminum foil to fill the gap. I have been looking at Oven Gasket. Maybe payday..... or maybe after the aluminum foil wears out.

I used high temp head rtv silcone gasket maker. Bought it in an auto parts store.
