Wanting to smoke some chicken legs. I usually just do quarters and throw them on with whatever is on. What suggestions as to temp and time? I got a leg hanger for my birthday that holds a dozen in a rack. want to try it out!

any suggestions?

Low as I stoop on daid chickens is splits Now I do have a good thigh recipe from Danny G. which I make on real special occasions. Was it on here or someplace where the fella cook chicken legs and make em look like lollipops? That look very kewlish. My memory aint as good as it used to be.

Chuck if crispy skin is important to you, cook the legs at 325º or higher, if it's not smoke them in the 245º-265º range. Both are great, but the difference in temperatures will give you a different texture in the skin and meat.
