I was expecting to only see one turkey from the title. Maybe a better name could be"The Smothers brothers meet Mr. Traeger".. that is going to be great food Bill!! Can't wait to see the rest of the process...

Bill have you eaten enough from the Traeger to notice
any flavor ir texture difference?difference

I havent noticed any difference. The turkeys are taking a little longer but I started out slow. and low. Just cranked up the heat and took the pans out.

Birdies are going to be great, can't wait to see the final product. Question, are you going to let them rest in a cooler and if so, will the go in breast side down?

Bill the turkeys look great.

I gotta ask though, why did you start them in the pans and take them out later?

I wanted to keep all the juices from running out. I took the pans out after about 3/4 of the way. Saved the juice for stock for some soup. ;)

Is there a lower grate that you could put a pan on?
