Picked up a nice pack of chuck eyes yesterday for $8. Seasoned with salt and pepper and seared at 700º a couple minutes on each side. I literally cut them with a fork.

Down here since Ike chicken beef & pork is in limited supply.
In other words the stores meat cases are almost emty Sams too...WTF?

Larry, is a boneless chuck underblade steak the same thing as chuck eye? Nothing labeled chuck eye at my BJ's today, but they have chuck steak labeled the other.
Oops, looks like I screwed up again. Ok, but I found a marinade that I'll try. Oops a lot of times turns out pretty good. We'll see.
 
Man I am going to have to score some of those soon.. I'm so poor I am having to catch my food now.. They turned out great larry... :D
