In ur house, eatin ur foodz.
I had just a tad bit of brisket left. So I did this...

reheated the brisket (mostly flat and a little point) in some of the reserved drippings. Sauted up a little asparagus with some fresh garlic, toasted some buttered buns with a little "Johnny's Garlic Spread & Seasoning" (if you don't have this...get some!) and warmed up some Swiss slices to room temp. I put the brisket on the toasted buns, the asparagus went on, then the swiss, I added a little Blairs Original Death sauce to mine, then some fresh romaine, and topped with a little sauce. The wife opted for some "doctored up" Blues Hog BBQ, I went with just horseradish.
It went a little something like this:

Is it too late to fix me one? Hot damn those look good. Never thought about asparagus on a sammich but I will now. Is that out of a can or fresh and crunchy?

It was real good! I actually wanted to use cheddar, but didn't have any to use. So I went with swiss. I suppose it would've been better with cheddar. My wife really enjoyed it too. Definitely something to make again.

One hint, a layer of mayo on the bottom bun will keep it from getting soggy. (Thanks Alton)

Scotty you really are a "Chili Head"!!! If you can eat Blairs sauce, you are a certified FREAK!!! Man that stuff is hot!! Have you ever tried this BTW, the sandwich looked great!!!

Yeah, that stuff has gotten a lot of publicity lately. I've never tried it. The hottest ones I have is #30 on the top 100. "Dave's Ultimate Insanity" 250,000 SU followed by #32 "You can't handle this hot sauce". 225,000 SU. Blair Original Death is quite mild though. 3 on a 5 scale.

I had a hot sauce that came out of a medicine dropper one time. The one drop made me walk around the building 3 times trying to regain my composure.

Yeah I saw something like that on FoodNetwork. One drop will heat up a 50 gallon tub of soup! How can you enjoy that?
