Yesterday was my step daughter’s birthday; she requested pulled pork for her birthday dinner. I rubbed four butts and got them in the smoker at 7:00am.
In the afternoon I put together the beans, Cole slaw, and tomato/cucumber salad. Got the bacon, sausage, and onions for the beans working.
The pork came out at 5:30, foiled and into a cooler for one hour. This is six pounds of pulled pork ready to go.
Time to eat.
Here’s the birthday girl.
She was 13 when I married her mother, yesterday she turned 39. Here she is with the eight year old love of my life;
her daughter Lauren working on Nanna’s homemade ice cream cake.
