I sand blasted the rust off the New Braunfuls today and repainted the firebox. I then made a fire in it to burn off the new paint smell, notice the little Weber ash catcher. ;)

Sometimes I like to just sit behind the cooker and pretend I am in a steam engine riding down the railroad watching the sights go by.
 
As long as you don't lay on that horn like they did in Hammond, LA at a comp I did a few weeks ago you'll be OK by me!!

So my son and son-in-law came by today and picked up the New Braunfels. Off it goes to a new home and the tradition continues. I now have the honor to teach another generation abouht cooking Q. :D
