I finally cut down the apple tree in the back yard. It had died because I pruned it too aggressively a couple of years back. I ground it up with my chipper. I guess I will now be experimenting with apple smoke this season. :D



 
I have 2 orchards providing me with applewood. One is clearing some trees, the other is pruning limbs. I should have a good supply.
