I went by Chef Smart on Stratford Road today and found pork butts at 86 cents/pound, packed two butts to a cryovac package. By comparison, the price at Sam's Club was $1.01, and only in case (8 butt)quantities.
They weren't marked as "on sale". They were just there in the refrigerated case, all marked .86/lb., and there were probably at least 10 cryovac 2-packs there. It looks to me like they'll be that price until they're sold. I may go back and get a couple more. Tell your sister to come a-runnin'!
