neighbor got another small feral pig near Florence.
brought me 2 hams and a butt to smoke for him.

chilly this morning but not bad now...got a fire in the fireplace,
thin blue smoke rolling out of the wsm...and a beer in the hand.

good Saturday..

Looking good! Popped one open myself to watch the thin blue smoke swirl.

Anybody ever figure out why smoke always follows you around to get in your eyes no matter how many times you move??? Just drinking and thinking.

Try something we used to do as kids. Yell "I hate f-in rabbits!" and the smoke will go away from you. Works everytime. ;)

Looks like a mighty fine day happening in Myrtle Cap. 8)

Alright CM.. Looks like it's going to be good eatin soon!!! Thanks for sharing!!! ;)

He gave me one of the hams.

Bill it does taste different, but not a huge amount.
It's less gamey than venison.
These pigs eat a lot of farm crops, which give them
a more familiar taste.

Now my sister won't eat em, but I think it's just the
thought of it rather than the actual taste.

Jim no finished cook picks means you got drunk, passed out and the wild pig rotted on the grill.......wait a minute, that HAS happened before!
