Fixed up one of Ms BluzQues's favorite midday meals today (and as ya'll know by
now....she wasn't the only one gonna be eatin')
Drug out a couple of ole trusty cast iron skillets that were my mothers.
Slapped in some slices of 2 year old Kentucky Smoked Ham.
Found some homemade (Mennonite) stawberry jelly and spread on some storebought
Grand's Buttermilk & Honey Biscuits. The renderings in the skillet left from cookin' the ham had some left over morning black coffee & water added. Voila What we country folk call Redeye Gravy was created! It was late enough in the day somewhere on the planet for me to have a beer with mine  Ms BluzQue had coffee with her's

As the pics show, my sidekick/blueshealer Gingerdog never misses a meal or nap (musta been the beer)

You know... 2 years is just about right for a country ham. :) I got one that was a year old for the big dinner in a few days. Thanks for sharing... it looks delicious.

I could chew the bottom plumb out of a galvanized bucket to get to the last morsel of that fine looking meal. You done good!! I give it a 10.
