I used to have one of these Webers a LONG time ago and couldn't resist getting another one to play around with.

Today I'm trying it out making pulled beef.

More pics when finished. I got plenty of beer for the test 8)

How long have you had the Smokenator and what do you think of it?

Got it Friday and this is the first run. So far it has not waivered 10 degrees from 250 following the directions that came with it.

Bacon wrapped too! Sweet!
When it's done I'll take a sammie and a few of those huge ass beers to go!

Man what a relaxing day!!

It sure did seem like a long wait just to make me a sammich(and I damm near ran out of beer!) But it turned out OK for a bottom round that is prone to dry up. I was gonna sauce it anyway.

The gadget thing worked like it said it would. All you got to do is wake up every hour and check to see if it needs water and a few charcoals.

It didn't quite 'pull' like I wanted but I was starvin and pulled it about 7 degrees too soon. Darn good though!!

cracked black pepper on bread and butter pickles[size]

I believe pickles (as slaw) should be served on the sammie......not on the side :D
Nice job!
