Nice pics there Tark :D . Are you a chef any where or just enjoy cooking? By the way, my daughters spent a couple of weeks there in Italy this summer. They realy enjoyed it.

Actually, you're one of the few people here doing traditional q! Our forefathers had to make their own grills too!
 
The grill is great... all that matters is the food you can make on it. Some of the best bbq in the U.S. is cooked on nothing more than a hole in the ground, surrounded by concrete blocks, with an old sheet of tin roofing over the top.
