I have a hard time with Spare Ribs, so I tackled them again. Used hickory pellets and gave them 30 minutes of smoke in the Traeger then three hours at 225º. Foiled them for one hour then another 30 minutes no foil. Made a glaze of BBQ sauce & honey, painted them and popped them into a 350ºoven for ten minutes. Not bad but I still prefer baby backs, easier to smoke and tastier to me.

They look good John.

I like spares but they are harder to cook.

My wife asked me why I was smoking spares when bb's were easier and taste better.

I reminded her of the phrase " Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" ;)
