Yesterday afternoon I put a pork butt on my Traeger wood pellet cooker to smoke for sliders this evening. Butt, before putting it in the smoker I rubbed it down really good with a good Louisiana cane syrup and seasoned it with Jack Daniels BBQ Pork Rub.
About halfway through a 10 hour cook with about 2 hours of that being good smoke.
Done and wrapped in foil until this morning to be pulled.
Pulled and seasoned with a lil more of that rub.
Smells so good you can smell it if you take a big whiff through your speaker!
