sirloin tip roast

A local super market has them for 1.89 a pound. What is this and is it a good deal?

That's a pretty good price for sirloin tip roast. If you havn't cooked one yet
now would be a good time to try it.
I do them occasionaly, cook to 130* to 140* internal, depending on your
taste, and rest before slicing. Be sure to slice as thin as you can get it. Also
the grain runs a couple different ways so you have to work with it while slicing.
Here's a pic of one.....

Just as a comparison, Lowes Foods, a NC based chain has whole sirloin tips on sale this week for $1.49 per pound. What I typically see for sale prices is around $1.99 per pound.
