I've bought wood from these folks several times and have been very satisfied. Good sized chunks, too.

I was in Birmingham, Alabama last week and they have a sporting goods store name Academy. The have smokers as well as Cherry, Pecan, Hickory wood chunks in very large bags. Do you have one of those stores in you area? We don't have one in my area.

I just googled and found their website.

I was going to suggest burning the hulls as well. I have heard several people mention doing that before.

Now I'll make you dad burns pecan in his wood stove to help heat his house. My grandfather has a pecan orchard in Georgia.....just a small one and when limbs fall off in storms or whatever, he and my dad cut it up for firewood.
