Nobody catches a 20+ inch trout and doesn't take a picture...do they?

Since we're talking about pictures of trout. Here's a picture of a 23.5 inch rainbow my wife caught last Sunday on the Kenai River. And here's a Dolly Vardin trout my 85 year old mother caught. The biggest 'bow we caught, we didn't get a picture of because it shook off at the net. It was Mom's and we guessed it was 28 inches. Note, no pics of Griff with big fish.

Nice catch! btw, that would be a 24" trout. Gotta round up, that's just the rules of fishing! The nearest place to catch trout from here is 6 hour drive, so I keep 'em all. A couple of these are 18-19" But I've yet to get that really big one.

Man ... if I were catching fish like that (or even watching others catch fish like that) I would learn to like fish more. I have to believe FRESH fish like these are far better than I could get at Kroger in Ohio ;)
