looks like the beef ribs go for a shorter amount of time than the
pork ribs, which isn't unusual.

Well it is for me. I have never cooked beef ribs in 2 or even 3 hours. Now JB on the other hand cooks his like a steak!

Cook beef 2 hours. Turn and cook for 45 minutes more, or until the ribs "bend" and the meat easily separates from the bone using a fork.
Are they saying only three hours???

According to them, it could be 3 hours or 10. when it bends, it's done.
If I ever find some decent beef ribs, I'm gonna try em JB style...I like
the idea of med rare rib eye on a stick.

[quote="Captain Morgan":1d34owt4]I cook mine longer than 2 hours too, but not as long as pork spare ribs.

I do a 3-2-1 on beefers, more time to drink beer.[/quote:1d34owt4]

Hey I never thought of it that way. \
I do my beef ribs about 4 hours at 250
