many moons ago I did food delivery for a Greek restaurant ... they made these dry garlic ribs that were quite good ... they were deep fried for at least a portion of the cooking time if not the whole time
this is same place I mentioned before that aged beef tenderloin steaks in 5 gal plastic bucket of oil on premesis and plunked them in the deep fryer for a minute or so prior to grilling
