First smoke ever.

You guys were right about the Brinkman- it's a flimsy piece of junk, but it did get the job done. Smoked for 6 hours and finished on the grill.
Very salty though- not sure if I over rubbed or oversmoked.
Is it possible to use too much wood and over smoke?
Anyway- the babybacks turned out great!

 
That looks great for a first cook! Next time you'll try something a little different and you'll like that result, and you'll start thinking about the next time ... and you'll suddenly realize your life has changed. :shock:

Great looking ribs.
 
Good looking bones. Were the ribs "enhanced" ?? That might account for the saltiness. If they are, just use less or even no salt in your rub.

I didn't even think of that! I bought them from a different store so they may have been.
