Dad??? Trekr...so you did it on a smoker or in the oven...I couldn't quite tell if you were waiting for the smoker or not. BTW, Airboss has a Charbroil elctric water smoker too...he has had a lot of success with it! :!:
 
looks good. In the second pic, i can't get over how much it shrunk! Could you pull the bone out without any resisitance?
 
Trekr, what you have got there is a picnic. The bottom half of the shoulder. I prefer that to the butt if it's just me I'm cooking for. It has a great rind on it that gets all crispy and smokey! Welcome to the fun!
