Went to BJ'S looking for something to Q this weekend and they had a cryovac 2 pack of butts totaling 18.08 lbs. They look pretty close in size so right around 9 lbs a piece give or take a few ozs. All for the low price of $1.39 lb. :happyd:
That's cool buddy! I got my 4 that I cooked this past weekend at $1.69/lb.

So, what will the rub be and when are you gonna fire up them butts?

<Greg seems to be speaking Ratheneese 8-[ >

7 gallons? Holy crap! I'd be lucky to use half of that volume of rub in a year. You da man Bryan!

Do give Mr.Brown a try sometime, along with the southern sop, I bet you'll like it!

Edit: :) oops, I see it was a 7 lb, one gallon jug, still, a lotta rub ...

Bryan,
The Mr. Brown is good, give it a shot. Send me a bottle of the HC since you have a case! :D Also the butts at BJ's here are $1.19lb! :taunt:

Greg wonders how he can fit a trip in to BJ'S during work tomorrow... :)

My pork butt (chicken) of two weeks ago came from B.J's. You know the story there. Goooood!

What's with the avatar merry-go-round son? I like the old one better. What about Perfect Drift and Roses In May?
