I just used a Fosters beer can which fit perfectly when I tried doing a beer can turkey

I used a variant of that sorta..but I dont waste good beer on filthy barnyard avians. I just wanting to keep it sitting upright. Great way to cook bird. Fire spanks his buttocks and the breastes is somewhat protected. Not as good as face down or wattles down perhaps. It was the inner holder part of a turkey fryer kit. I still have several. Can buy them individual at Academy sports for ten bucks or so. No much way to use a beer can with it.
