Welcome to the forum. You can add smoke to your cook using most any conventional grill with pretty good results. I have two charcoal grills, a Weber Performer and a split drum grill, that can be used quite easily for smoking. I also have a Weber Smokey Mountain that is designed specifically for smoking. The type of grill or smoker you select is really dependent on the quantity of smoked meat you need to do at any one time and the budget you have for the equipment.
If you keep reviewing some of the cooks done here and pay attention to the members on this forum who post on a regular basis, you'll find that most anything can be accomplished even with limited resources and basic equipment.
