Welcome to The Forum Bluebird, good to have you here. Just made a trip this last Fall to Breaks Interstate Park, I think your neck of the woods, really beautiful.

Are you talking about George Allen, out former governor? If so, no I do not know him. As far as clogging, I do not but there is a large group in our county that does.

Ok gotcha. We have some elderly half fast kin who live up there along the Shenadoah River (supposed to take your breath away). He retired from the Pentagon where he helped JFK with deciphering the U2 photos to get the Ruskies kicked outta Cuber back in the early 60's. Him and George is best pals. They go Cloggin like some of us might go bbq cooking or music feastivals. Looks like a blast. Anyway guess I need to check on that young man. He is technically the Wardens Step-daddy's older brother..if that makes any sense. We are trying to compute his age and aint heard from him in several years but thinking he is bound to have already passed.

Think that young man may have headed back to Old Virginny. Me and him may have been kinfolks.

Welcome! I lived in Roanoke for 20+ years and traveled all over southwest Virginia in my job, so I've probably been through your area a time or two.
