I am a huge fan of Horseradish......but, out here in the southwest it seems it's all pretty whimpy. In fact....if I used the terminology that best described most of it....I would probably get banned for foul language!
Any suggestions are appreciated....I'll order some if I have to. Much like a hot sauce.....I'm looking for good flavor too...not just eye watering, nose running heat!
About the PRINGLES......I was at a local Dollar Store with my kids yesterday. I saw the Horseradish Pringles for the first time. Guessing they've been discontinued which would explain why they are in the Dollar Store to begin with.
I liked them.....but they're not great - they have that fake powdery flavor (like a cheese chip) that has a weird taste. Good to have a handful....but after too many.........(urp..if you know what I mean.)
I post a lot of FOOD pics on my Facebook page.....in fact....so much so, people send me pics of their food on from their cellphones. (am I the only one that does this...?)
I was looking for a picture of those Pringles so I could share it with my FB friends....then stumbled upon this site.
I'm also a moderator on another forum that's similar to this one....but for drummers. (onlinedrummer.com) have been for years....in fact I was there very first Moderator at the time..... so I'm not a noob when it comes to forum etiquette and behavior. As excited as I am to be a part of this group....I promise not to spam you all with my various pics of my food!
I would like to get a recipe (or some simple directions/tips) for these scotch eggs.......

This looks like something right up my alley!
Again....
good to be here...thanks for the warm welcomes!
Here's a pic I'd like to share of a CHUBBY I smoked the other day.........for your viewing pleasure. I'm guessing everyones smoked a Jimmy Dean sausage before..(no?) ..just roll it in your favorite seasoning...and slowly smoke it to about 170*. Wrap it in an oven mit for an hour, then refrigerate it overnight. The next day.... slice it like summer sausage.
I've tried several combos........lemmon pepper and sage sausage, Old Bay and Hot Sausage, Lawrys or Suzie Q's Santa Maria....among others....this one was home made rib rub and a regular sausage - so far....it's the family favorite.
Cheers!
