Hi Ya'll
Thought I'd drop a line. Ain't new here, been reading for a while, bout a year now I reckon. Ain't much good at typing so I don't do much posting.
Really enjoy reading though. Have grilled for years, but just last summer tried Q-ing. Now I'm hooked. Drive a truck for a living, but looking to give it up in a few years. So Q-ing is my next venture in life, love to Q, so why not have fun with it and some day make some money. Have learned lots from you guys and gals, and also lots of trial and errors. Have came up with a lot of good sauces, rubs, etc. I know ya'll like food porn, I do too, ain't much at all with these new modern gadgets, maybe someday I'll figure out how to put up some pix. I'm just an old long haired, bearded, tattooed, earring wearing, wore out, scooter riding, truck driving, hillbilly from Free Home, Ga. that loves to cook and oh yeah, eat too. Yep you guessed it I'm big and plenty ugly. But make darn good Q. I cook and something strange happens. It disappears. Go figure.
Until next time, smoke on.

Welcome aboard..sounds like you'll fit right in !! Do you drive truck over the road. You could probably plan your trips around the members here and have good Q wherever you head...

all right, that's enough of that. I don't have a tatoo.
Welcome Roxx, I firmly believe the best way to learn q is to ask questions and experiment. Trial and error mixed with some helpful
advice will get you where you wanna go quick.

Oh and to answer your question John, nope don't drive over the road anymore, gave up on that back in the 80's. Drive dumptruck now and sleep in my own bed at night, but if I was on the road it would be a good way to meet you guys and sample ya'lls cooking. Been in pretty much all states and if I ever do it again it will be to my enjoyment, not working the wheel and being a stick jockey. Life is to short, stop and enjoy. Oh, I luv upstate NY (Buffalo), nice place to visit, but then again I've seen a lot of other places I'd like to revisit. Maybe someday. Peace.
