Hi from western new york
Greetings from upstate New York. My fisrt BBQ was in 1989 in Charlotte North Carolina. Was at the COCA-Cola 600 on vacation got sick of eating over cooked hamburgers. Up here we can order a burger medium rare. No well done rule hear. Was in a bar that had a bbq sandwich. Had one and have been in the pursuit of good bbq ever since. A friend of mine was throwing out a New Braunfels Black Diamond Barbecue Smoker. I took it of his hands fixed her up and have been doing my own for 4 years. Met 2 guy’s at the oinktoberfest this past weekend and told me about this site. The last 2 years I have gone down to the Memphis in May bbq championship. I joined the Crosstown cookers bbq team and help them out with what ever they need help in.
Other interests are Volunteer firefighter, photography, racing, winter sports, and woodworking. I am a machinist for a living.

I will be going next year. It is a lot of fun. We had a spot on the river. We where across from the Norway team that used Dave Kose Bling Bling Smoker.
Our team has the old 1940 10 cent pony ride. Called Sandy. Had a lot of people ride it.

Hello from Erie county! Sorry I missed you at Oink. Wittdog should have sent you down, but he knows I'm a idiot.
