Hello from the New Gal!

I'm new to The BBQ Central group, so I thought I'd just say a quick hello!

We just started a new all-natural beef store, www.HuwaReserve.com, so I'm always looking for new ways to cook/BBQ meat, new ideas, and new friends who share our passion. I am so excited to learn more from all of you experts and to get to know you!

Can't wait!

Thanks!! Nice to meet you guys!

A bit about me... well - I'm really bad at cooking (cooking anything), but I'm slowly getting better. I made homemade cookies for the first time in my life this week

I love to read, take pictures, hike with my doggies and meet new people!

And I'll be sure to include pictures next time

Hey Kate hearty welcome. I feel your pain on the no cooking stuff. I been trying to train the Little Bride how to cook for the past few decades. I finally taught her how to fry an egg and currently working on teaching her how to boil water etc. She's progressing nicely seems like. Dont be no steeken stranger around here.

Hey whats going on. Glad to see that you are getting better at cooking... :P

As for a good place to find good recipes. You will find most of the people on this forum will give you advice, even at time your don't ask for it, but it is all good advice. There are alot of good cooks here, and we have all been at the beginning at one time or another. Hope to see some pics of your cooks here soon.

You found the right place if you're looking to learn to cook. Some of these guys give step-by-step instructions with pictures to carry you along the journey.

Just a word of caution though...There's a couple of good posters here that, well, every time that I look through their posts I seem to gain a couple of pounds so I have to take a couple of days off from the forum to lose those pounds.

It's all good though!
