Hello from Michigan
I am a rookie griller / BBQ cooker. I bought a Char-Griller 2121 a few weeks ago. Looking forward to picking brains and making some good bbq.

What a deal. Welcome on over here. You have stumbled over the right place to give cool links to stuff. What a guy. Are you a Game Warden?

Welcome Ivan! The best thing you can get for that chargriller is the sidecar firebox. I have one of these, (an old one) it's a good bbq cooker, even without the firebox, but a better one with it.

Welcome from a Michigander myself
Best thing you can do for that grill is to keep it cleaned out.......don't let it get wet.....and spray it with cooking spray oil to get a protection film from rust.
Those have a severe rust out problem

Michigan? Where in Michigan?
I would tend to agree with Bosko, since there is only one chamber. It is lacking a firebox to be a true offset smoker.

Thanks for the welcome. I live in Battle Creek, but am a southerner (born and bred Kentuckian) at heart. I plan on getting the side cooker.
