Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands
Hello,
My name is Frank, 39. I'm a debt collector and 5 years ago I bought my first 22,5 weber OTG. I'm a fan of listing to (bbq) podcast's, that's how i find this forum. I'm married, 2 kids and enjoy to bbq (or better grill) the year round, and yes, I grilled on both X-mas days.
My setup looks like this:
I hope to learn from here, ans possible to share how we do it, over here
Please, forgive any of my mis-spellings and have a nice day

Re: Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands
Hey Greg, There are 2 compagnies that spring to mind, a company regarding safety en invirement, and an optomm... optrom.. (for eyewear/glasses).
Charcoal, not a big fan, I use brikkettes 95% of the time, but whe can get lump, altough not in the big size bags, normaly lump is sold in a 8/10 liter bag, enough for 2 grill sessions.
A couple of friends are eggheads, went commercial and can get their hands on orrigenal BGE lump, the big bag's, so it's not to hard to get it over here.

Hey Frank welcome. Very nice cooking set up you have. I have distant kin by marriage which comes from Holland (aint that the same place as The Neitherlands?) He works for Lockheed and did a lot of work of the Joint Strike Fighter. They are currently in WA State. Swear that boy can nearly keep up with uncle bigwheel on the beer and shooters Sprakenzie Deutch?

Well thanks for the geography lesson. I shoulda stayed awake in 5th Grade..kick kick I would take a wild guess since Jimmy Carter on Steroids is in charge..they will bail. Them folks never met a defense budget cut they didn't like. We can just give them some flowers or something. Dang hippys are running the world.

Re: Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands
Wow that color combo of black and red is hard to beat. That was the official colors of the high screwl I attented back when I was a young skull full of mush. Small world huh? Now do yall make the Gouda cheese by any chance? I just love that stuff. Thanks.

Re: Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands
On your profile you have a website link that links to a blog and pictures, there was a picture of what looks like someone grillin' in the bathtub .... what is the deal with that?

The blog you refer to translates into Everything for the winter BBQ'er
Those pic's are from a wintergrill session from (former)Russia when the outside temp was -55C (-67,0F) and a proof that no matter the temp, it's always possible to grill

Re: Hello from Gouda, The Netherlands
That is wild ... I don't think my bride will let me do that, but I guess we don't get temperatures like that in Ohio either. Thanks for explaining.
