Hello From Flushing Michigan!!
Just wanted to stop by and say hello and introduce myself. The one and only Bruce B invited me to come on over to this forum. I have been lurking for a few days and have liked what I have seen. It appears to be a great spot to learn some things and make some new friends.
A little about me, I have been Q'ing for almost my whole life, but only recently got serious about it. I competed for the first time this past year, and deceided to form my own team this year. The team consists of my wife, my 2 sons and my Nephew. We are called Rubbed,Smoked, and Sauced or RSSBBQ for short. We actually got a chance to compete in the backyard division of the Silver Lake Mi contest last year and came home as Grand Champs. We are now willing to try our hand at the big time.
I am also helping form the Great Lakes BBQ Assocation with the help of Bruce B. We are really close to becoming an actual organization!! I am sure Bruce has told you all about that, so I will stop there.
I look forward to meeting new friends and learning lots!!
Mike
