Did my first brisket, I might add it was wonderful, 10 hrs in the smoker and 1 1/2 hr. wrapped in the cooler. moist as heck. Only question is the rub everybody uses, I used a mixture from a small grocery store, just wondering if their is better out their. seamed a little bland kind of.. I put BBQ sauce on at the table which was good, should I have put it on sooner in the smoker? thanks for any thoughts or types of rub to try..... keep smoking
