My Mom got me this for Christmas. Thought it was a joke at first but it really works. I used it to lift out a tray from the grill and it works good for adjusting the vent on my kettle. Burned my fingertips the first time I did this with out them :shock:
I do not know what they cost but they work for me ;)
 
Hey Hornet,

I have one of those gloves. They are about $20 bucks at Bed Bath and Beyond.

They are great for handling hot metal things but hot liquid will soak right thru and burn you.
