I dont need a shredder since my pushed pork is so tender and succulent it just takes two plastic forks to get it fittin to slap on the cheap white bun. If I see anybody who needs something like that..will send them your way. Thanks.

Yeah, same here BW, I just run a couple of forks through it, works well.
On another subject, I think the weather in the north has finally broke.... No snow in the future weather for a change. I have the window in my man cave wide open, feel nice for once. about 60° out, and that is warm for Michigan, it's like mid-summer.

Glad yall are finally getting a break. The truck driving baby boy wore that part of the world out this winter..-40 on the nice days etc. We gonna have to get some rain in this part of the world or folks are fixing to start moving off to where there is some. Mineral Wells and Wichita Falls area are in especially bad shape.

Kind of ironic. Two towns with forms of water in their names going dry. Doughts are bummers.

Gator Claws or Bear Paws, I really never understood why you need them, my pulled pork always seems to pull a part with my fingers or a couple forks if it still hot??? I guess if I were fighting a bear or gator I might want a pair

Unless you work for John Morrel and have to shred 5000 lbs a day.........waste of time

Yep dinner forks and a knife works pretty darned good. Now sometimes I use a pair of dove feathers picked up out by the bird feeders. That be for a real tender batch of butt.

Insulated rubber gloves work for me, one big squeeze with both hands and I'm pretty much done.

What I do is I just pull the butt from the smoker with my hands then I quickly spin and shoot it like a basketball through a hoop I have set up, with a pan on a table below it. The pork drops through the net, into the pan, exploding upon impact into perfectly pulled pork, all landing back in the pan of course, and simultaneously shooting the bone right out, which my dog jumps and catches.
But seriously, I do have some of those bear claws, and I used them once. Not really worth the 2 extra dishes to wash.

Sounds like a good way to release pent up hostility. Maybe pretend you are squeezing a bad person. There ya go.

Edward Scissorhands had it right.
I have a pair of bear paws that someone gave me. Yeah, I try to remember to pull them out and give 'em a try, but they feel so clumsy compared to a couple of forks. An invention where there was very little need.
