Souhern Comfort Wings

1 lb dk brown sugar
2/3 cup mustard
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/3 cup Southern Comfort

Mix cold mustard and other ingredients and bring to a simmer. Simmer 10 - 15 minutes and cool until mixture coats the back of a spoon. Toss with smo-fried wings. Damn tasty.

OK - I see that my status has changed from Que Rube to baby back but I'll show my Que rube-ness and ask..

what are SMO-Fried wings?

Smoked and then fried wings?
Slow Motion Oregonian Wings?
Small Mean Opossum Fried Wings?
Stingy Maroon Orangotan Wings?

Oh wait, those last two don't have wings do they...

Yes.

Just kidding...

To smo-fry anything, smoke the meat for about 1/3 - 1/2 of the normal cooking time, then drop it in a fryer to finish it off. You get smokey flavor and fried crispiness. Good for turkey too.

Thanks. After I wrote that I thought, maybe smo just means smoked, but from the recipe, it seemed to be something esle. So Smoked Fried.. makes since. Thankies
