These kebabs are a traditional dish of Brazil. The bacon pieces that sit between the beef tenderloin pieces keeps the whole kebab flavorful and juicy.
INGREDIENTS:

* 1 pound beef tenderloin
* 1/2 pound bacon
* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 2 tablespoons lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon minced onion
* salt and pepper

PREPARATION:
Cut beef tenderloin into 1" square pieces. Marinate in the oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and minced onion for about 1 hour. Cut the bacon in squares and place onto skewers, alternating bacon and beef squares.
Grill until brown. Serve hot.

Very Nice SS. I was in Brasil 8 or 10 years back. It is a long story but while I was there we had a bbq prepared for us. The Cracked Pepper Rub you have was based on the recipe that was used. I liked Brazilian food but found the beef served in restaurants was generally served thin like in Mexico.

The meat they served at the bbq was like small beef roasts on a spit. They served it with grilled chicken hearts on skewers rolled in spiced bread crumbs after they had cooked. Very Tasty.
