Bigwheels Baked Beans

Ingredients:

- 1 gallon Bush's Baked Beans
- 1 medium onion, sweet
- 1 cup sugar, dark brown
- 4 slices bacon, cooked, thick cut, 4-6 slices
- 1 cup Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce
- 3-4 Granny Smith Apples, chopped to 1/8 pieces
- 1/4 cup Sunmaid Golden raisins, 1/4 - 1/2 Cup

Directions:

1. Open the can of beans and pour off 1 cup of the liquid. Replace the missing liquid with a cup of SBR's or whatever bbq sauce you want.

2. Mix well along with the cooked bacon, chopped onions, brown sugar, apples and raisins.

3. Put in a big disposable half pan and cook on the pit without a lid till everything gets nice and bubbly and it forms a crust on top and the apples get done.

One large can of Show Boat beans (24 servings)
One lb sausage, I like Jimmy Dean
One onion
One green pepper
1 tbs fennel seed
1/4 c brown suger
3/4 c ketchup
1/4 c viniger

Brown the sausage, add the onion pepper and fennel seed. Drain the
beans, add to a 1/2 pan and combine all ingrediants. Bake covered at
350 for 45 min or until bubbly.

Couple of stupid questions: :oops:

Is it a 1 pound sausage "roll" crumbled and browned, not a link cut up?
Any idea how many ounce can of Showboat Beans?

I switched and use Italian sausage but you can use breakfast sausage and yes, crumble it.
#10 size can of baked beans.
