There's not alot of fat and connective tissues in that high priced piece of beef. I would suggest forgetting about smoking it. Slice into steaks and grill. :D
 
It's a personal preference thing. When I do t-loin steaks I just use salt & pepper and a very hot grill.

I have bias against marinades though I know some swear by them. The guys that are into marinades and injections can help you there.
 
Do like dats said and grill them or keep it as a roast and grill like that. I'd also skip any marinades. That piece of meat is plenty tasty, just some salt & pepper & it's ready to go!
