Seasons greetings gang! Does anyone have a good jerky recipe, idea, technique? Mrs. Airboss surprised me with a Cookshack Smokette 008 for being such a good boy this past year and I'm anxious to try some.

This is the only jerky marinade I've ever used. Got it from an old Highway Peteroleum dispatcher many moons ago.

Pickett Durrough's Jerky Marinade

1 cup wooster sauce
1 cup soy sauce
1 T. Black peppa
1 T. Onyawn powder
1 T. Garlic salt

Cut meat into strips about the size of your index finger and soak 12 hrs in the marinate in the ice box. Round steak or venison works good. If you want to get real fancy use partially frozen eye of round and cut it into wafers about 1/8" thick with a slicer. Dehydrate with or without smoke @ 130-140 till it turns to shoe leather. 18-24 hrs depending on how much airflow you got temps etc Doubles, triples and quadruples well.
